“All the events and characters in this play could have been fictional, and yet, it happens, it happens in the head of the main protagonist, on the night in which she finds out that she has lost her father, between 11 p.m. and 8 p.m. and 3 a.m. and 20 minutes, between receiving the tragic news and the inevitable awareness of the tragic truth. We tried to ask ourselves what is happening (or not happening) in someone’s head in those moments. Is the person (already) overwhelmed by endless sadness or is he (only) stunned by the fact of losing his parents? What kind of nonsense does our brain defend itself with in those moments, and who and why does it call for help, who and how does it address?”
