Based on the novel “The Serbian Heart of Johan”, inspired by true events. The film “Harvest” follows the astonishing, true story of the German baron Johann von Wagner, who after an illegal heart transplant begins to have disturbing dreams and visions. Burdened by memories that do not belong in his life and a responsibility he cannot ignore, Johan begins a personal and dangerous search for the truth. His journey takes him to Kosovo and Metohija, where he faces the dark reality of the illegal organ trade, linked to the notorious “Yellow House”. The meeting with the family of the man whose heart he carries in his chest – his mother, wife and young son Milan – further strengthens Johan’s desire to try to right the injustice, even if it is too late.
