“The Executioner” is a darkly humorous psychological drama of the absurd with elements of suspense. In the center of the story is a man (Branko Ilić) who runs away from a stranger (Mirko Vlahović) and takes refuge in a half-ruined hotel, where he finds a maid (Mira Đurđević) who maintains this forgotten space on her own. In such an environment, they are forced to play to the end of their fateful and unchanging roles, while each of them carries their own tragic perspective as a necessary evil from which there is no escape.
