Under pressure from her closest friends – Shaz, Jude, and Toma – as well as her colleague Miranda, her mother, and her gynecologist Dr. Rollings (Oscar winner Emma Thompson) – to carve a new path toward life and love, Bridget returns to work and even tries dating apps, where she soon becomes haunted by a dreamy and enthusiastic younger man (Leo Woodall from The White Lotus). Juggling between work, home, and romance, Bridget struggles with the judgment of perfect mothers at school, worries about Billy who misses his father, and embarks on a series of awkward encounters with Billy’s science teacher (Oscar nominee Chiwetel Ejiofor).
