I SWEAR follows John Davidson’s journey from a teenager with Tourette’s to an advocate for understanding and acceptance, through humor and the strength of life.
I SWEAR is an honest, witty, and powerful new film inspired by the life and experiences of John Davidson, chronicling his journey from a misunderstood teenager in 1980s Britain to today’s advocate for understanding and acceptance of Tourette’s syndrome. He was diagnosed at age 15, and through troublesome teenage years and growing up, he pushes through all obstacles, finding inspiration in the kindness of others and discovering his true life purpose.
