In the immediate aftermath of World War II, as the world confronts the revealed horrors of the Holocaust, American military psychiatrist Colonel Douglas Kelley is given an exceptional task – to assess the mental state of Hermann Göring, the infamous former Reichsmarschall and Hitler’s deputy, as well as other high-ranking Nazi officials. But he soon finds himself trapped in a psychological duel with Göring, whose charisma and cunning reveal a harsh truth: that ordinary people are capable of committing unimaginable evil.
